Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zlatan sucks's Sune Bergdal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Bjursell having to interfere. After 4 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Bjursell was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 6 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. Edgar Bjursell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edgar Bjursell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fritz Berghmans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Lorenzo Cazalla was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Petter Hansson in the 25th minute really tested Dante Lacasa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Edgar Bjursell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Zlatan sucks getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Melquiades Osasun hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Bjursell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Zlatan sucks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Zlatan sucks's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Zlatan sucks's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 44th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lautaro Mancebo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Zlatan sucks's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Edgar Bjursell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes into the game, Melquiades Osasun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zlatan sucks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. With a little luck, Zlatan sucks's Edgar Bjursell got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Edgar Bjursell in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zlatan sucks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Zlatan sucks's Edgar Bjursell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Zlatan sucks from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Bjursell could save by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edgar Bjursell made a huge save. A collision led to Zlatan sucks getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Sven-Ove Holmgren hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 76 minutes, Edgar Bjursell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zlatan sucks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fritz Berghmans in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Zlatan sucks getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Petter Hansson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Bergdal in the 96th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
