The audience was convinced that Visen Allu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Visen Allu in the 54th minute of the match. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Peru's Rafael Gallo saw an opening behind the goalie Candido Piedra in the 91stth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Candido Piedra with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Many of Peru's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Peru may have spent more time on the ball, but Altermundi FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
