Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Alfredão de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfredão de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Joshua Secada was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão de Medeiros having to interfere. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandinense ADF's Alfredão de Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomas Illescas sped through Sandinense ADF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfredão de Medeiros. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Ramón Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandinense ADF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Ramón Hoffmann hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

Alfredão de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 53rd minute of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão de Medeiros having to interfere. Alfredão de Medeiros was a little too slow when Tomas Illescas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Tomas Illescas didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 63rd minute. Venezuela's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandinense ADF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Patricio Costa scored to the left of an out of position Alfredão de Medeiros, making the score, 0-4. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão de Medeiros having to interfere. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Alfredão de Medeiros 89 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute of play. Venezuela's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
