Karol Dylla hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mateo Leguizamo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. Jaroslaw Cetnar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Lepper dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 1-0. Kazimierz Lepper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Zorita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Lepper in the 64th minute of the match. In the 68th play minute Abram Luque came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olaf Hodas. 1-1. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Lepper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Damian Puchlik kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Mateo Leguizamo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Olaf Hodas made a huge save.
