With a little luck, G.R.'s Goel Glauberman got control of the ball when Jonathan Alphonse tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yotam Tamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Rozen Lipsky charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rozen Lipsky the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Yavin Warner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Goel Glauberman was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Jonathan Alphonse capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Alphonse really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haiti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Alphonse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goel Glauberman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in G.R.'s zone, Philippe Ambroise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goel Glauberman came out of the goal and Philippe Ambroise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Goel Glauberman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Alphonse in the 37th minute of the match. G.R.'s Goel Glauberman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. Goel Glauberman was a little too slow when Ernso Constant got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. If Philippe Ambroise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yotam Tamir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jonathan Alphonse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavin Warner kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. When Gesner Philippe came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Haiti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gesner Philippe couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Alphonse in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goel Glauberman saved G.R. from getting behind. Ernso Constant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Goel Glauberman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, G.R.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Alphonse came free, but Goel Glauberman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Alphonse scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Goel Glauberman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Philippe Ambroise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Goel Glauberman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Ernso Constant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernso Constant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Alphonse in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goel Glauberman saved G.R. from getting behind. Haiti's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
