Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Václav Olšanský in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Václav Olšanský in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michail Šimík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Václav Olšanský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 21 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michail Šimík was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 31 minutes Závodní Pivovary Sil.Hill's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Závodní Pivovary Sil.Hill's Michail Šimík managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Václav Olšanský kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Závodní Pivovary Sil.Hill's Michail Šimík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Závodní Pivovary Sil.Hill's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 42nd minute, Teodor Heinz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74th play minutes Osvaldo Tibalt shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Závodní Pivovary Sil.Hill getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sergej Pejchal hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Michail Šimík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
