Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cassius Byrne made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Visen Allu in the 7th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Bradley made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jenson Smith. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candido Piedra saved Altermundi FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 17th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Altermundi FC's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Zach Harrison had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candido Piedra. Altermundi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zach Harrison was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 25th minute of the match. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 26th minute of play. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Visen Allu in the 28th minute. Candido Piedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Piedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Mcdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Visen Allu to strike the kick off in the second half. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. In the 59th minute of the match, Cassius Byrne got a very nice opportunity to score, but Candido Piedra was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Visen Allu in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. In the 67th minute of the match USA got a corner. Altermundi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Edward Mcdonald sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Candido Piedra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sam Campbell took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Candido Piedra. Candido Piedra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Altermundi FC's Gerónimo Molina was substituted for Visen Allu. Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing was substituted for Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. When Khalid Parry came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Khalid Parry couldn't finish the play. Candido Piedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. USA were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Altermundi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Recai Taykurt hit a great ball. USA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
