G.R.'s Goel Glauberman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save G.R. from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, G.R.'s Yavin Warner got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, G.R.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mario Fernandino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yavin Warner kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Alfredo Ferrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goel Glauberman having to interfere. Goel Glauberman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eduardo Fontirroig went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso de la Cruz in the 57th minute of play forced G.R.'s goalkeeper Goel Glauberman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bolivia booed when G.R. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Ben Yochay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Goel Glauberman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Chicote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mario Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Goel Glauberman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Goel Glauberman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind G.R.'s goalkeeper Goel Glauberman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yavin Warner's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavin Warner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, G.R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavin Warner to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Bolivia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
