Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iacob Stoicescu started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Mitu having to make a save. David Mitu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Mitu. Arabesque -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mitu having to interfere. Cezar Prunaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cezar Prunaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Arabesque -MM-'s David Mitu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. David Mitu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 30 minutes into the match, Arabesque -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but David Mitu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Arabesque -MM-'s goalkeeper David Mitu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iacob Stoicescu struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arabesque -MM-.

David Mitu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Iacob Stoicescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Olimpiu Bărbuceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Stoicescu in the 59th minute of play. Olimpiu Bărbuceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezar Prunaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezar Prunaru ran back to his position shaking his head. David Mitu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with David Mitu in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Mitu having to interfere. When Antonio Arias fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Antonio Arias a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Arabesque -MM-'s Victor Arosculesei got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Mitu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Arabesque -MM-'s David Mitu got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this David Mitu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Iacob Stoicescu's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Stoicescu helped the player get up and apologised. Iacob Stoicescu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Mitu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a free kick in the 95th minute.
