Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by WRYYYY's Torbjörn Ekeroth. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Ekeroth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when George Danielsson came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when WRYYYY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Sandström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dennis Henriksson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. After 23 played minutes, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tom Lundgren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Costa Rica reached it. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute of the match Nils-Emil Bollström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Torbjörn Ekeroth struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WRYYYY. In the 33rd minute, George Danielsson made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 36th minute, WRYYYY's Torbjörn Ekeroth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Ekeroth in the 42nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Ekeroth to strike the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Henriksson went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the match, George Danielsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Ekeroth in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute WRYYYY were awarded a corner. George Danielsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Torbjörn Ekeroth to score against Benito Sanz in Costa Rica's goal. 9-0 after 83 minutes. Torbjörn Ekeroth scored 10-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. WRYYYY had played much better football throughout.
