Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tor-Ivar Storm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tor-Ivar Storm. Tor-Ivar Storm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Buinton in the 29th minute of the match. Shark FC - FSCMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by La 雷锋 in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Shark FC - FSCMZ's corner La 雷锋 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Loureiro came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tor-Ivar Storm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Ghiţă Popescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Julian Murillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor-Ivar Storm. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bartolo Buinton to make the kick off. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tiago dos Santos in the 57 minute of the game. Marco Vianna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Vianna slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tor-Ivar Storm saved Shark FC - FSCMZ from getting behind. After 64 minutes, Julian Murillo made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Shark FC - FSCMZ's Tor-Ivar Storm tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tor-Ivar Storm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Mina ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Emmanuel Reyes drilling the ball in to score 4-1 behind Shark FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper. Tor-Ivar Storm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
