Artaç Hendekli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Artaç Hendekli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. The audience was convinced that Michel Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Batistuta went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Venezuela booed when STAL ST WOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Hodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Matai skillfully saved the ball. STAL ST WOLA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
