Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cälal Elxanov came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Liamthaisong in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Luizinho Paranaense in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luizinho Paranaense saved Juventus Telford from getting behind. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Stuart Bayne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luizinho Paranaense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Cälal Elxanov notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Cälal Elxanov notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Piarres to strike the kick off in the second half. When Boruc Spychalski came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Juventus Telford fans jumped to their feet. Juventus Telford were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Liamthaisong took the corner. The corner led Juventus Telford's Cälal Elxanov to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Piarres in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Facundo Cadaval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luizinho Paranaense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 73rd minute of play forced Juventus Telford's goalkeeper Luizinho Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 90 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Juventus Telford players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Rouco to maneuver through the defense. José Liamthaisong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute, Juventus Telford's Colin Fisher seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Colin Fisher the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Juventus Telford protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Colin Fisher had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juventus Telford fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Juventus Telford:s Luizinho Paranaense showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. Luizinho Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
