Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by STAL ST WOLA's Damian Hodas. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Batistuta to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 51st minute of play. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
