The Springplank FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Otto Zuidam should have stopped the shot. Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonidas Arias in the 8th minute of play. Pedro Villalaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ramon Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Tuhuteru in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Tuhuteru came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 32nd minute of play forced Springplank FC's goalkeeper Otto Zuidam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Zuidam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Peren in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Bos to maneuver through the defense. Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 38th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casper Ottens during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 40 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonidas Arias came free, but Otto Zuidam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Max Moscoso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Otto Zuidam quite easily take care of the ball. Otto Zuidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Peren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Tuhuteru to strike the kick off in the second half. Panama's Ramon Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdi Reis in the 60th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Victor Agurto. Arnout Lembeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Peren might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otto Zuidam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiliam Peren ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolás Gomez came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Otto Zuidam could save by the left post. With a little luck, Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam got control of the ball when Wiliam Peren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Schophuis to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathieu Schophuis to maneuver through the defense. After 80 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcus Tuhuteru who took care of the corner kick. Springplank FC's Mathieu Schophuis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramon Peralta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pedro Villalaz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Otto Zuidam firmly grabbed it by the left post. The corner ended in Totín Garcia De Paredes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam did a great save. In the 87th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freek Reitsema to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Nicolás Gomez in the 88th minute really tested Otto Zuidam's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 89th minute, Victor Agurto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Springplank FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramon Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Tuhuteru in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th minute of the match Springplank FC got a corner. Panama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcus Tuhuteru ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Springplank FC's Marcus Tuhuteru to fire away a dangerous shot which Ramon Peralta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Springplank FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Panama's performance. The match ended with a win for Panama.
