Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Sporting Burgas's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Álvaro Perpiñán reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Álvaro Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Sporting Burgas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Álvaro Perpiñán despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Javier Carmona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Seve Sevilla shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Perpiñán having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Fioriti might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Fioriti ran back to his position shaking his head. Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Javier Carmona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Antonio Fioriti made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Álvaro Perpiñán read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. In the 52nd minute Antonio Fioriti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Cristian Sancho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th minute Juan Sebastián Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Fioriti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Burgas's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro Perpiñán came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Álvaro Perpiñán breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Burgas's Álvaro Perpiñán did a great save. When Sporting Burgas's Antonio Fioriti in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Antonio Fioriti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Perpiñán saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Maurin Canturri shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Álvaro Perpiñán made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 86th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Antonio Fioriti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Luis Andino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Álvaro Perpiñán made a huge save. Javier Carmona charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Javier Carmona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sporting Burgas getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Javier Carmona hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Álvaro Perpiñán when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Álvaro Perpiñán made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sporting Burgas had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
