Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sun Lightfoot in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Calcio Brigate Rossonere got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Åke Hellström ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 8th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Jonny Vacker in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Calcio Brigate Rossonere were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Åke Hellström took the corner. Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Åke Hellström was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Elliot Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Jonny Vacker tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Elliot Norström. Elliot Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliot Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calcio Brigate Rossonere's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Elliot Norström did a great save. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Elliot Norström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elliot Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elliot Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Calcio Brigate Rossonere's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Calcio Brigate Rossonere getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jonny Vacker hit a great ball. Elliot Norström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sun Lightfoot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elliot Norström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elliot Norström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Calcio Brigate Rossonere's Elliot Norström. Elliot Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Vacker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonny Vacker in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cristian Sancho fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Cristian Sancho a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Jonny Vacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Roger Morat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Calcio Brigate Rossonere's goalkeeper Elliot Norström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador played a much better game than Calcio Brigate Rossonere and deserved their victory. The Calcio Brigate Rossonere players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
