Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Hockley AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match, Joseph Hubbard tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Hockley AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 9 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Fred Lineker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Hubbard in the 10th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Seagrave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hockley AFC's Fred Lineker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hockley AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Hockley AFC's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joseph Hubbard, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fred Lineker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Fred Lineker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Seagrave was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blair Hedges. 57 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fred Lineker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Fred Lineker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 68th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hockley AFC's Blair Hedges got a free kick in the 76th minute. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute really tested Fred Lineker's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joseph Hubbard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Hubbard in the 82nd minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Hockley AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
