Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when György Gömöri took the kick off in the first half of the match. György Gömöri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Ferenc Fülöp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Károly Pölöskei charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Károly Pölöskei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience cheered when Lajos Major's long shot passed Jonathan Ferrant's right side. It was 0-2, 12 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Fülöp in the 19th minute of play. The corner led Gelse's Lajos Major to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonathan Ferrant despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from György Gömöri, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Gömöri in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the game Zoltán Tímár made a throw-in which Károly Pölöskei played forward. If Károly Pölöskei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 45 minutes into the match, György Gömöri notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Zoltán Tímár kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Gömöri in the 54th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gelse's György Gömöri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-6 after 69 minutes of play. A collision led to Gelse getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Zoltán Tímár hit a great ball. 78 minutes in the game Zoltán Tímár did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Pablo Aimar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Károly Pölöskei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Károly Pölöskei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lajos Major's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lajos Major helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gelse getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lajos Major hit a great ball. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mátyás Horváth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mátyás Horváth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
