Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcus Tuhuteru took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anyon Brook during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, U21 Wales's Anyon Brook got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Otto Zuidam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwres Shrieve, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Naw Hannah hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Springplank FC got a freekick which was hit by Freek Reitsema. Niels-Jan Cales charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niels-Jan Cales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niels-Jan Cales kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When U21 Wales's Gruffen Gibson in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Springplank FC's goalie prevented a goal. Naw Hannah kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Wales getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Beven Carmichael hit a great ball. Taffy Finn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerrit Bos in the 37th minute of play. Arnout Lembeck was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Springplank FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Otto Zuidam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gruffen Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Springplank FC booed when U21 Wales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naw Hannah didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, Springplank FC's Marcus Tuhuteru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Taffy Finn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Springplank FC reached it. In the 46th match minute, Springplank FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Tuhuteru to maneuver through the defense. Otto Zuidam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celyn Armstrong, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

U21 Wales's Marrock Loughnane was substituted for Gwres Shrieve. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celyn Armstrong to make the kick off. Springplank FC's Otto Zuidam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Springplank FC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Mathieu Schophuis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springplank FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. U21 Wales's Taffy Finn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnout Lembeck in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Springplank FC's Marcus Tuhuteru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Taffy Finn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Taffy Finn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferdi Reis in the 71st minute of play. Marcus Tuhuteru took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taffy Finn. Taffy Finn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 79th minute Celyn Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Zuidam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Lembeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Taffy Finn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 86 minutes on the clock, Gerrit Bos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Springplank FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Otto Zuidam had in the 88thth minute some difficulties stopping Caledvwich Keene's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Taffy Finn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Reis in the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Springplank FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
