Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luis Avellaneda kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute of the match, Hector Covarrubias tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Unai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the The Pontiac Bandit defense, Primitivo Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Unai. The The Pontiac Bandit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Unai should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Alan Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paraguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Unai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Jaime Pardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Unai. Jaime Pardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 20th minute, Jaime Pardo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jairo Unai, passed just outside the right post. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jairo Unai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Pontiac Bandit's goalkeeper Jairo Unai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Jaime Pardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Unai was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. With his leg Jairo Unai managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Paraguay's Jaime Pardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Unai was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The Pontiac Bandit's Jairo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Paraguay's Jaime Pardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Unai. That made the score 4-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Unai came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Jaime Pardo. But to his dismay, Jaime Pardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The Pontiac Bandit's Jairo Unai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 58th minute of play. With 63 minutes on the clock, Bernabe Sotero commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in The Pontiac Bandit fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! 70 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jairo Unai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jairo Unai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Unai having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Pontiac Bandit's Godfredo Lizbeth got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jaime Pardo, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 85 minutes into the match, The Pontiac Bandit's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Pardo came free, but Jairo Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Escribano struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jairo Unai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Unai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Jaime Pardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Escribano in the 91st minute of play. After some careless play in the The Pontiac Bandit defense, Hector Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Unai. The The Pontiac Bandit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Unai should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Paraguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
