Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jason Seagrave started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jason Seagrave. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Oliver Watson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jason Seagrave's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jason Seagrave had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Seagrave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Jason Seagrave tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Lineker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Hockley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fred Lineker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Watson. In the 59th minute, Xaverius Xavier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Joseph Hubbard notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Hockley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matty Gerrard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Hockley AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patricio Costa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hockley AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Lineker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jason Seagrave in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Lineker was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 93 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Xaverius Xavier came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hockley AFC the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Hockley AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
