Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute of the game, Felix Luque landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macit Sağıt during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mexico booed when Suprs Academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macit Sağıt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla had several of the Suprs Academia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 64 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Jacek Ptaszek as he didn't even see the shot coming. 67 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Queiroz came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Jacek Ptaszek in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacek Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacek Ptaszek saved Suprs Academia from getting behind. Jacek Ptaszek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 79th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macit Sağıt, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiliam Queiroz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
