In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Habib Kutuner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habib Kutuner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Habib Kutuner saved THE LEGEND COME BACK from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Doriva Goiano in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Habib Kutuner. Habib Kutuner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joselito Gimenez in the 23rd minute of play. Habib Kutuner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Doriva Goiano made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. THE LEGEND COME BACK's Habib Kutuner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Habib Kutuner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joselito Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Habib Kutuner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Habib Kutuner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joselito Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The THE LEGEND COME BACK fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when THE LEGEND COME BACK's Joselito Gimenez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 87th minute João Augusto Dolić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Buhagiar in the 89th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Habib Kutuner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Habib Kutuner was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
