When Arnaldo Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Gabon couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute Kerim Altunbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Altunbaş in the 22nd minute of play. If Elpidio Francis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Oğuzcan Lami hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Selahaddin Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Elpidio Francis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Kerim Altunbaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Kerim Altunbaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMLUCHO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Selahaddin Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nélson Sousa was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Mustafa Ali Cansoy in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AMLUCHO's Leonel Venerando. Kerim Altunbaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Branislav Velchevski made a huge save. The throw-in from Mustafa Ali Cansoy in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AMLUCHO's Leonel Venerando. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mustafa Ali Cansoy hit a great ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when Kerim Altunbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Ali Cansoy hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. AMLUCHO made a substitution. Mati Magen replaced Kerim Altunbaş. The supporters of AMLUCHO booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Cansoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mati Magen in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Aristides Asteri got a free kick in the 85th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Mustafa Ali Cansoy in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AMLUCHO's Leonel Venerando. Selahaddin Esentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Jackie Banks reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Branislav Velchevski. The goal made the score 1-3.
