Ageamiii's Vintilă Baba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christo Bothenhain in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game, Pentti Ojala dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Vintilă Baba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pentti Ojala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiger's Josef Witlatschil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Tiger from getting a goal against them. Dan Nistor's late challenge caught a Tiger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pentti Ojala to make the kick off.
