The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ramirez came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francis Curtis in the 5th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Niceto Ramirez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Curtis in the 9th minute of play. Torstein Stenseth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Mutumba in the 12th minute. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Souza in the 13th minute of the match. Corinthians FC's Torstein Stenseth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians FC from getting a goal against them. Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Len Woolford in the 19th minute of play. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Martin Mutumba got a very nice opportunity to score, but Torstein Stenseth was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 25th minute of the match. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francis Curtis in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Len Woolford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Martin Mutumba hit a great ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francis Curtis in the 36th minute of the match. Martin Mutumba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torstein Stenseth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Vykans Vikingar's Leonardo Trancoso was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 41st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 47th minute Niceto Ramirez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

After 52 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Abdi Revis made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torstein Stenseth was left in no man's land by his defense there! 55 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Revis came free, but Torstein Stenseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torstein Stenseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the Corinthians FC defense, Leonardo Trancoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torstein Stenseth. The Corinthians FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torstein Stenseth should have stopped the shot. Vykans Vikingar's Christoffer Johansson was substituted for Hugo Eden. Corinthians FC's Torstein Stenseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hermansson in the 63rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Mats Hermansson sped through Corinthians FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Torstein Stenseth. Corinthians FC's Torstein Stenseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Mutumba in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Vykans Vikingar's Martin Mutumba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torstein Stenseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Vykans Vikingar's Tage Glanselius was substituted for Jose Indalecio. Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund was substituted for Martin Mutumba. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Haglund in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vykans Vikingar's zone, Francis Curtis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal and Francis Curtis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roy Mortimer hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Vykans Vikingar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
