Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Leißner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Iwo Sawicki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Louis Leißner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Pentti Ojala reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilmar Brasil. The goal made the score 2-0. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Sawicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pentti Ojala struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Nilmar Brasil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiger. Mikael Siltavirta hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Nilmar Brasil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pentti Ojala in the 38th minute of play. Nilmar Brasil was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Pentti Ojala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pentti Ojala really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cléberson Mendonça made a kick off. Nilmar Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christo Bothenhain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Josef Witlatschil managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pentti Ojala scored 5-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nilmar Brasil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cléberson Mendonça in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Josef Witlatschil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nilmar Brasil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizka Mendieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cléberson Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiger's Fatih Schwemer was substituted for Américo Baehr. Tiger's Marten Weise was substituted for Iwo Sawicki. Marten Weise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nilmar Brasil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Marten Weise notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Clapham Rovers's Nilmar Brasil. Nilmar Brasil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiger walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
