Leo Salvino lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Manuel Alves had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Henning Bennet's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Holmgren in the 17th minute of the match. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Kvist in the 19th minute of play. The Sundborn IF fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manuel Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Kvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Alf Hansson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Sundborn IF from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Kvist in the 38th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Honesto kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Wágner de Sena. Sven-Olof Stephansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 48 minutes Izaltina FAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven-Olof Stephansson who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sundborn IF's corner Erland Kvist fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manuel Alves quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Well-Well Waack to make the kick off. Ted Holmgren struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Manuel Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sundborn IF. Patrik Gribfeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Gribfeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Izaltina FAD getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Izaltina FAD from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Alf Hansson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Alves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 93 minutes into the match, Erland Kvist notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves. Manuel Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sundborn IF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
