If Mathias Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Calado in the 12th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duda Berger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when Aston Villa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karel Otto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustaquio Javiar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Villa F.C's zone, Baltasar Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda Berger came out of the goal and Baltasar Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Freire in the 67th minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Freire took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustaquio Javiar. Eustaquio Javiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Baltasar Artaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duda Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kajetan Wolniewicz came free, but Eustaquio Javiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Artaldo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duda Berger saved Aston Villa F.C from getting behind. Duda Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Artaldo in the 79th minute of the match. Baraja Española FC made a substitution. Jeremias Lopez replaced Baltasar Artaldo. In the 81st minute of the match Baraja Española FC got a corner. Aston Villa F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeremias Lopez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eustaquio Javiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 88 minutes into the match, Mathias Freire had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustaquio Javiar. Baraja Española FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Aston Villa F.C's Duda Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Lopez in the 94th minute of play.
