Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 7th minute of play. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Herta Budino were awarded a corner. Fábio Grosso went to the cornerflag to take it. The Herta Budino fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 25th minute of play. Davide Rinaldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fortunato Sangermano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ildefonso Fliz's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herta Budino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Shaun De Battista was slow to take the kick. During this time Meerkats FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Meerkats FC's Shaun De Battista to fire away a dangerous shot which Fortunato Sangermano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Adam Baldy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Pankracy Zawacki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kleanthis Zoumakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes Herta Budino got a freekick which was hit by Adam Baldy. Fortunato Sangermano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Fliz in the 39th minute. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Herta Budino from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ildefonso Fliz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pankracy Zawacki. Pankracy Zawacki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davide Rinaldi in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Zawacki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortunato Sangermano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Ghinescu in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pankracy Zawacki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Pankracy Zawacki made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Davide Rinaldi sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Rinaldi got free with Pankracy Zawacki in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herta Budino's Corrado Loiacono was substituted for Harry Potter. Herta Budino's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fábio Grosso in the 72nd minute. After taking down the ball on Herta Budino's corner Fábio Grosso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Zawacki quite easily take care of the ball. Pankracy Zawacki stood somewhat misplaced when Davide Rinaldi came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 74 minute. Pankracy Zawacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 77th minute. Davide Rinaldis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Pankracy Zawacki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Rinaldi got free with Pankracy Zawacki in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Herta Budino's Pedro Velasco got a free kick in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Herta Budino's Virgílio Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Zawacki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 95 minutes into the game, Jeremy Mercieca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meerkats FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Herta Budino the free kick. A collision led to Meerkats FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jeremy Mercieca hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Virgílio Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Zawacki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Herta Budino eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
