After having played for 8 minutes, Jimeno Dalmai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dionisia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Dalmai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Coleiro. In the 12th minute, Andrè Tedesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun De Battista in the 19th minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Coleiro. With an all-out effort, Meerkats FC's Serafim Eanes threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aron Ghinescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute Dionisia were awarded a corner. Florencio Chano went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dionisia's corner Florencio Chano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Zawacki quite easily take care of the ball. Aron Ghinescu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jeremy Mercieca kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dionisia's Serafim Eanes got control of the ball when Ildefonso Fliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Jimeno Dalmai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ildefonso Fliz made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Shaun De Battista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim Eanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Meerkats FC's Ildefonso Fliz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafim Eanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pankracy Zawacki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Dalmai in the 57th minute. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Incorvaia in the 61st minute of play. If Jimeno Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisia made a substitution. Sebastian Cisco replaced Florencio Chano. Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian was substituted for Jimeno Dalmai. Serafim Eanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Fliz in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Andrè Tedesco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meerkats FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dionisia the free kick. Andrè Tedesco hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Arnaldo Beturian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. German Naelio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pankracy Zawacki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meerkats FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Denis Ereinotz was slow to take the kick. During this time Dionisia's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Denis Ereinotz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Meerkats FC's Pankracy Zawacki did a great save. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Coleiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dionisia's Denis Ereinotz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pankracy Zawacki in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
