With a little luck, OS IMPOSSIVEIS's Nicky Williamson got control of the ball when Kajetan Wolniewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jerônimo Carvalho tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Nicky Williamson a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by OS IMPOSSIVEIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mário Corrêa was slow to take the kick. During this time Aston Villa F.C's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th minute, Witold Gotfryd made a precise shot to the right of Duda Berger. Aston Villa F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th match minute, Aston Villa F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Rosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Kajetan Wolniewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Witold Gotfryd made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Aston Villa F.C getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Thorsten Schuhmacher hit a great ball. Witold Gotfryd might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duda Berger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Witold Gotfryd ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicky Williamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Lucas Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kajetan Wolniewicz in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Lucas Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. OS IMPOSSIVEIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78 played minutes Aston Villa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói Abreu. Kajetan Wolniewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky Williamson having to interfere. Duda Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
