Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Cooke in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Crespo came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eric Donnarumma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 20th minute of play. Isidro Gines could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Eric Donnarumma made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Gines in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Donnarumma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Errecaborda AFC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Errecaborda AFC's Isidro Gines looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
