Manuel Alves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Sandalio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Izaltina FAD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pastor Ado took the corner. The corner led Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado to fire away a dangerous shot which Manuel Alves despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Waack in the 15th minute of play. Manuel Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorino Sandalio in the 19th minute. The supporters of Errecaborda AFC booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wágner de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Savion in the 30th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmond Verdun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Well-Well Waack in the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Matías Mendes sped through Errecaborda AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. In the 37thth minute of the game Victorino Sandalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Izaltina FAD's Manuel Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Izaltina FAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pastor Ado was slow to take the kick. During this time Errecaborda AFC's players had a chance to rest. In the 38th match minute, Errecaborda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Errecaborda AFC's zone, Well-Well Waack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmond Verdun came out of the goal and Well-Well Waack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matías Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André de Senna during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes into the match, Pastor Ado sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Manuel Alves threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Pastor Ado this time. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 47th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gines in the 48th minute of play forced Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Manuel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorino Sandalio made a kick off. Edmond Verdun was a little too slow when Matías Mendes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Silvio Honesto replaced Leandro Sugar. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Angelsø got free with Edmond Verdun in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauro Rameriz took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Alves. Manuel Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 80 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Errecaborda AFC's Rogelio Jakes was substituted for Aírton Urbano. 96 minutes into the match, William Angelsø had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmond Verdun. Errecaborda AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Angelsø was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
