But to his dismay, Carolo Stephen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute Isidro Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Chorache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Theobald made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ♦Diabetes♦'s Benjamin Milio. After 19 minutes, Carolo Stephen made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the match, ♦Diabetes♦'s goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Gines came free, but Jonas Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Stephen in the 23rd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Jerardo got free with Jonas Chorache in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 48 minutes into the match, Isidro Gines had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Chorache. ♦Diabetes♦'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidro Gines was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ♦Diabetes♦ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
