Vitor Tejedor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duda Berger having to make a save. Duda Berger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitor Tejedor in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute Kajetan Wolniewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cibran Velasquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Pando CNdeF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillelme Morua to maneuver through the defense. Pando CNdeF's Ramiro Agulla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kajetan Wolniewicz, made in the 25th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitor Tejedor in the 27th minute of play forced Aston Villa F.C's goalkeeper Duda Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitor Tejedor made a kick off. Duda Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitor Tejedor in the 52nd minute of play. Cibran Velasquez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathias Freire in the 54th minute. Aston Villa F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mário Corrêa in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Pando CNdeF's Cibran Velasquez got control of the ball when Kajetan Wolniewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Aston Villa F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aston Villa F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
