Paredes Fortes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Paredes Fortes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viktor Axelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute FC MCM were awarded a corner. Cristi Maniu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC MCM's Cristi Maniu to fire away a dangerous shot which Paredes Fortes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Viktor Axelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paredes Fortes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After 16 minutes AKI CORINTHIANS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cristi Maniu who took care of the corner kick. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 19th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Viktor Axelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paredes Fortes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save AKI CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. Viktor Axelsson did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Paredes Fortes 27 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Viktor Axelsson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36thth minute of the game Cătălin Agulescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When FC MCM's Cătălin Agulescu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AKI CORINTHIANS's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to AKI CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Ciro Brasil hit a great ball. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Isbășoiu in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Cătălin Agulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC MCM's Călin Prunaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfred Schrijns in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match AKI CORINTHIANS got a corner. FC MCM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfred Schrijns ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Alfred Schrijns almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC MCM's Călin Prunaru did a great save. Paredes Fortes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Axelsson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Brasil in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Călin Prunaru saved FC MCM from getting behind. 70 minutes into the game, Viktor Axelsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Paredes Fortes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AKI CORINTHIANS's Eusébio Negri was substituted for Bert Karlsson. FC MCM made a substitution. Radomil Redisz replaced Cătălin Agulescu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Isbășoiu in the 75th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vali Cârnu in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Fortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 88th minute Adrian Isbășoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vali Cârnu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paredes Fortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Maxim Frumuzache hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Eusébio Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Prunaru having to interfere.
