In the 8thth minute of the game Lúcio Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Sá in the 20th minute of play. Ciro Brasil hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Gustavo Reis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paredes Fortes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 24 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Bert Karlsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio Sá in the 27th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Sá in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. 33 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36thth minute of the game Lúcio Sá who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Vânderson Castro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kjell Sjöö. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vânderson Castro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Erik Vihonský made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Holgado in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. Paredes Fortes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Vihonský's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
