With a little luck, FC MCM's Călin Prunaru got control of the ball when Ciro Brasil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Axelsson in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Fortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albino Ibar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Romeu Tinoco hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Brasil got free with Călin Prunaru in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Viktor Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes, Viktor Axelsson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Viktor Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Călin Prunaru having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Viktor Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Paredes Fortes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Axelsson in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by AKI CORINTHIANS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cristi Maniu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC MCM's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC MCM's corner Gavril Mangra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paredes Fortes quite easily take care of the ball. In the 65th minute, Adrian Isbășoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC MCM made a substitution. Elodio Ghinescu replaced Daniel Ciolofan. FC MCM's Radomil Redisz was substituted for Cătălin Agulescu. In the 75th match minute, AKI CORINTHIANS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Simões to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AKI CORINTHIANS's zone, Vali Cârnu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paredes Fortes came out of the goal and Vali Cârnu tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Cârnu in the 87th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ciro Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKI CORINTHIANS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Prunaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AKI CORINTHIANS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 91st minute, when Radomil Redisz scored to the left of an out of position Paredes Fortes, making the score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vali Cârnu in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. FC MCM were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AKI CORINTHIANS to leave the ground with a draw.
