Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Peñaloza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Julian Blasi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Evelio Dacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Blasi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zarco Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarco Figueira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zarco Figueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 28th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evelio Dacio. 39 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Oihan came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Julian Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peñaloza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Blasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them.

Julian Blasi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Zarco Figueira made a huge save. Zarco Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Simon Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Julian Blasi made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zarco Figueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Simon Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Peñaloza's Eduardo Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 88th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zarco Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salvador Gisbert hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
