The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 16 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilmi Uyaralp in the 19th minute of the match. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ataol Dilsafa. Mustafa Kemal Selman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Güneş Süleyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s goalkeeper Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After a defensive mix-up in Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.'s Mustafa Kemal Selman got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Güneş Süleyman came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Kemal Selman in the 81st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Halis Mutlusoy could save by the left post. Mustafa Kemal Selman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otomasyon Gençlik F.K.. After 95 played minutes Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Donato. The Otomasyon Gençlik F.K. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
