In the 18th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cirilo Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Cirilo Demario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cirilo Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The Chuscha FC - Ψ - fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Teobaldo Osoitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Osoitz in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Osoitz in the 57th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Cirilo Demario however easily saved by the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalkeeper Cirilo Demario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 64th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Cirilo Demario did a great save. Thomas Avila tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cirilo Demario. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Osoitz in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Chuscha FC - Ψ - was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Teobaldo Osoitz in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the game, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s Teobaldo Osoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. A collision led to Chuscha FC - Ψ - getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Efrain Lugo hit a great ball. If Ulises Gamus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Chuscha FC - Ψ - had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
