Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Roberto Veiga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Osasco Hot Dogers's Tiaguinho Lira in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 9 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zé Roberto Veiga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Lira got free with Benito Sanz in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Osasco Hot Dogers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osasco Hot Dogers the free kick. In the 19th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Dorival Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osasco Hot Dogers and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Osasco Hot Dogers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zé Roberto Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A hard shot 28 in the game by Tiaguinho Lira from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiaguinho Lira in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute Giovanni Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiaguinho Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Osasco Hot Dogers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseo Noboa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. In the 57th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Roberto Veiga. Axel Tasis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 67th minute of play forced Osasco Hot Dogers's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Lira struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osasco Hot Dogers. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Carneiro in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute of the match Tomé Vale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Lira in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Dracena came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Axel Tasis made a precise shot to the right of Zé Roberto Veiga. Osasco Hot Dogers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Osasco Hot Dogers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa Rica's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa Rica.
