If Jacinto Kimetz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Kimetz in the 24th minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but A.J. 陈义勇 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes ArgenTeam's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Milagros Fraga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but A.J. 陈义勇 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg A.J. 陈义勇 saved ArgenTeam from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, ArgenTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but A.J. 陈义勇 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacinto Kimetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Kimetz in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The ArgenTeam supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
