Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Hjälm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Löfskog in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Hjälm having to make a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gösta Hjälm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jakob Löfskog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced HisingsBacka FC's goalkeeper Gösta Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the match, HisingsBacka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Gösta Hjälm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Octavian Movileanu notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gösta Hjälm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Malte Askestät received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Malte Askestät slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Octavian Movileanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of HisingsBacka FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Julio Vera, was totally fooled by HisingsBacka FC's Malte Askestät, who 44 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 46th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakob Löfskog made a kick off. After 53 played minutes HisingsBacka FC got a freekick which was hit by Roger Eriksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 55th minute of play forced HisingsBacka FC's goalkeeper Gösta Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jakob Löfskog's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Gösta Hjälm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 78th minute Octavian Movileanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gösta Hjälm in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after HisingsBacka FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 89th minute, HisingsBacka FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Andino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Gösta Hjälm in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when HisingsBacka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced HisingsBacka FC's goalkeeper Gösta Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The HisingsBacka FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
