Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andy Gudmundsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Albin Lenberg fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bennis's protests and gave Albin Lenberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Moises Fernandino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Arne Eklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Alex Forsell kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Bennis defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund. The Bennis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Arne Eklund should have stopped the shot. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Eklund having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Gudmundsson in the 36th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albin Lenberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 45th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El Salvador's attentive Luis Rubio managed to snatch the ball when Alex Forsell made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Bennis's Andy Gudmundsson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jorge Magrina, made in the 57th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Luis Rubio in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Alex Forsell. 65 minutes into the game, Luis Rubio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bennis's Arne Ahlqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Fernandino in the 68th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Sven-Arne Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Moises Fernandino managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Salvador's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Fernandino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Arne Eklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Arne Eklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moises Fernandino went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Joshua Curbelo made in the 83rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jorge Magrina. Jorge Magrina kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torbjörn Alrot in the 86th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Rubio.
