An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Kristian Törnqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Kristian Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Andersson got free with Thiago Pliego in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristian Törnqvist came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Törnqvist was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Törnqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Stefan Andersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Anderssons short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Thiago Pliego to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Idrottsklubben -03's goalie prevented a goal. Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 39th minute of play. Orlando Casaus scored 1-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristian Törnqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Andersson in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 47 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by Erling Falkrantz. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

But to his dismay, Stefan Andersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Idrottsklubben -03 made a substitution. Herman Örtendahl replaced Erling Falkrantz. 70 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Guillermo Fontirroig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Törnqvist having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Francisco Carballar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Idrottsklubben -03 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Idrottsklubben -03 made a substitution. Henrik Flink replaced Folke Forssell. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mariano Lacasa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-5 to the left of a surprised Kristian Törnqvist 84 minutes into the match. Kristian Törnqvist made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristian Törnqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mariano Lacasa 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-7. After 95 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chile had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
