Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julian Murillo kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabino Vilhena got free with Rolando Noboa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vito de Godoi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 15th minute, Generoso Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Bo Stam made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Karl Nietlisbach however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play forced Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Stam made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sabino Vilhena. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Peru were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Matos Velhos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Vito de Godoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Alonso Berganza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vito de Godoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Alonso Berganza slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Bo Stam with Adalberto Peres as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Vilhena in the 59th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Vito de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes, Bo Stam mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matos Velhos and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Matos Velhos got a freekick which was hit by Bo Stam. Matos Velhos's Lee Beckford was substituted for Karl Nietlisbach. Matos Velhos made a substitution. Özdemir Saygur replaced Generoso Silvino. In the 69th match minute, Matos Velhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Stam to maneuver through the defense. Vito de Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julian Murillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 70 minute of play. Vito de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of the match. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito de Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Matos Velhos's Vito de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Matos Velhos from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Matos Velhos's goalkeeper Vito de Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Candal in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Henrique Candal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Tenorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Candal in the 86th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Gallo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 97th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. Antonio Tenorio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.
