Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Andy Gudmundsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Sven-Arne Eklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Puig in the 6th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. After having played for 16 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bennis's goalie prevented a goal. Robin Nord kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 23rd minute of play. Andy Gudmundsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Gudmundsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund. Bennis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 35th minute of play. Sven-Arne Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Arne Eklund saved Bennis from getting behind. Eliseo Noboa made in the 43rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alan Moruga immediately put the ball in play. In the 45th minute Aaron Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Axel Tasis in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Andy Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 63rd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Bennis booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bennis's Robin Stenberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costa Rica. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Gudmundsson in the 71st minute of the match. Efrain Moruga made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bennis's Robin Nord. A sloppy throw-in by Efrain Moruga in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Albin Lenberg. Bennis's attentive Henric Vallman managed to snatch the ball when Juan Rubio made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. In the 82nd minute, Axel Tasis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven-Arne Eklund. The goal made the score 0-3. Sven-Arne Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 85th minute of the match. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Eklund having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bennis's zone, Axel Tasis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Arne Eklund came out of the goal and Axel Tasis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Lautaro Puig in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bennis's Hans Kielberg.
